OUR MISSION

And at the same time provide broadband services to the residential and commercial consumers in rural area enabling them to conduct their business in same fashion as the city people do.

Company Background

DLT Networks, Inc. was incorporated in June of 2003, as a Texas "C" corporation. B4 Venture an investment company and Siddhi LLC a manufacturing facility, in addition to a group of its investors and principals invested the initial stage venture capital into the company. DLT's mission is to provide wireless broadband services to serve schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions in NE Texas .

DLT received a loan commitment from USDA under their Distance Learning Telemedicine Program to serve towns with population of less than 20,000. Accordingly DLT will be serving more than 129 towns located in 26 counties in NE Texas by the end of June 2005.

DLT ‘s founders realized that the rural area is not an attractive investment for the larger companies such as big bell companies. It requires large investment to lay cable and fibers for DSL or Cable services. While DLT will be using Allumera solution that is a wireless solution and reaches 75 miles or more from one hub using repeaters and collectors. Thus Allumera solution outperforms other competitors in deployment cost, ease of expansion and cost of services that is evident from following graph.

DLT has acquired all of the towers needed to serve their coverage area. DLT has finished the installation in Van, Lindale, Terrell, Forney, Longview , and Kaufman , TX . It will continue building its networks and expects to finish it by the end of March 05.
